The Koper and Postojna Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry presented the 2024 Best Innovation Awards in the Obalno-kraška and Primorsko-notranjska regions on Wednesday, 12 June 2024 in Koper. The role of innovation in the sustainable development of the economy and the promotion of entrepreneurship was an important factor considered in the evaluation.”
The Postojna Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry awarded 1 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze awards, 1 breakthrough invention award and a special award for long-standing participation in the Best Innovation contest of the Postojna Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Delamaris received a silver award for its innovation Delamaris “Skuša Balance” mackerel fish salad.
On behalf of the Delamaris development team, the award was accepted by Monika Marin, MSc., Director of Development and Technology, Production and Quality, and Uroš Zalar, Delamaris Development Technologist.

In 2023, Delamaris added a new flavour to its line of premium fish salads, Skuša Balance with spelt and pine nuts – unique and the first of its kind on the market. It is a genuine fish delicacy containing selected quality mackerel, tasty vegetables and cereals. The salad is enriched with sun-dried tomatoes and pine nuts, which are popular ingredients in Mediterranean cuisine. It is a natural source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids and a tasty and balanced meal. Skuša Balance is part of the Delamaris range of fish salads, which won the 2023 Innovation of the Decade Award from the Nutrition Institute.
